It's sad that a former high school pitcher recently sued his school system over an arm injury. The Seattle Times recently wrote about a 24-year-old that sued after blowing out his arm. While he lost the case (couldn't prove negligence), it may be a disturbing sign of things to come.

I like the first two days of the men's basketball tournament because the coverage is so intense. I loved skipping school to watch the early games...I loved watching the webcasts when I worked at previous places...and I'll enjoy sneaking peaks at the scores while covering Spring Training this week.

While most of the team was over in Jupiter taking on the Marlins, a few members of the Sox stayed back to host the Twins in a short-notice "B-game." we were there for Josh Beckett's start and spoke to him afterward.

We just aired an investigation into youth sports injuries and how some parents are (incorrectly) pushing their kids to focus on one sport year-round to become better at it. It's a growing problem, especially here in Florida where kids can play baseball 12 months a year.
